Episode 102 of UPMC NOW spotlights a partnership between UPMC Hillman Cancer Center and UPMC Magee-Womens that saw their first patient receive a groundbreaking vaccination targeting pre-invasive breast cancer; UPMC in Central Pa. and Girls on the Run teaming up to teach young girls skills so that they can boldly and joyfully pursue their dreams; a University of Pittsburgh and UPMC summer camp for high school students teaching them about medical imaging informatics through the use of AI; and Penn State, UPMC and Dauphin County collaborating to produce a healthcare vending machine for low-barrier access to Narcan, lifesaving items and connect patients to service.
