Trans males have not experienced both sides of the gender devide. They have no real experience of what it is to be female or to live as a woman. Just because they may have spent time pretending to be a woman doesn't mean they actually know what it's like.

Also, fragile masculinity is not referring to blaming men for marketing towards them.

It is trying to describe when men don't have a solid sense of self. Specifically in relationship to their own internal sense of masculinity.Thiss is experienced as an ego threat, which can cause the man real internal pain.

For instance he might long to hold and cuddle his new baby, but in societies view that is feminine behavior, and so he doesn't engage in good healthy behaviors that he himself wants to do because of his own fragile sense of self and masculinity. Anything "unmasculine" threatens his sense of self.

Men who are dealing with this sort of aditude don't know that Men don't worry about whether a particular activity is manly enough, they have the confidence to move through the world as they want. And external labels don't shake their sense of self.

I think of fragile masculinity is the way that masculinity is on it way of being broken. Putting masculinity in a bad light, describing it as aggressive, domineering and excluding is whats making it fragile rather than it being a man who loves, cares, provides and protects because thats what true masculinity is.

That's not fragile masculinity. The idea behind FM is that masculinity is difficult to earn and easy to lose. Unconsciously, this makes men who feel that their masculinity has been called into question more likely to engage in compensatory stereotypically masculine behavirors to compensate, and those behaviors, typically, are violent.

Diet Coke is the number one product of Coca-Cola. To try to get a slightly larger percent of the market, they found that some men didn't want to buy Diet Coke because it seemed lije a girl thing. The company then added sinething called "Coke Zero" and they increased sales.

I appreciate and respect that this gentleman speaks up for some of these issues for men, however, it’s little things here and there such as referring to the trans women as “she’s” and talking about topics such as “fragile masculinity” why young men (such as myself) tend to go towards ‘the right’, rather than ‘the left’.
