Monet Quilt - How to Applique an EPP Block

It's a beautiful project!
I love your choice of scrappy saturated colors over white.
I'm currently on a stall, finished sewing all my hex flowers to each other in a ring and need to appliqué it. Im tempted to machine sew applique because I'm worried it'll move so much and skew my huge ring of hex flowers . But i like your method of glue to hold it.
