Like I said mostly during daytime openings they do this stuff. For people that just come over to have a drink and are off to go shopping again. They won't notice it anyway. Once it's past 9pm/10pm they have a full kit being used by a DJ.

I've seen plenty of clubs that have just a single CD with a 32 bar loop playing non-stop. No DJ needed that. Most of them do it during daytime, when people come over to lounge.

I would totally get Pioneer gear too if it wasn't so expensive. The quality matches many other DJ companies out there, but with Pioneer you're mainly paying for the name. It sucks too because Pioneer is the DJ standard at clubs and venues. Why don't they realize that more people would buy from them if they lowered prices just a little bit?

@ElectroWOWofficial well a djm 2000 would be nice but if you just starting with real decks, you dont want pioneer cdj 2000's and djm 2000. its best to star off with the lower end equipment. if you just jump into high end professional gear you wont know what your doing. id recommend. getting something by kam or gemini.

Pioneer stuff is expensive because DJs and clubs can make money with it. Look at an icecream maker, the technology inside it is like 100 bucks, but the machine costs like 2000 bucks, because companies can make money with it!

i just need Hot Cues soooo badly :) so much fun to play around with and that is why i am looking forward to those voxoa p70 .. i guess they will be around 600-700€ i just have to work a little more to afford them ;)

@bigdima3 check out .. : voxoa p70 ... like a copy of the cdj 1000 (same add ons and effects) but it has the size of the cdj 400 ..

it isnt in the stores yet .. so i dunno the price yet

@jigibao 100% agreement :D but i like using CDs so much more than timecodes via trakor or serato ^^ ..
just a personal question what you wanna use . but 1 thing's for sure: vinyl is goin to die out. maybe it will partially survive through timecodes.
