I took my daughter backpacking for 5 days hiking to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and people were calling it child abuse.
We did the same thing for the next 10 years down to the Colorado River via different trails. It became our tradition until she went off to college.

I got to jump with my dad when I was 10 and he passed away when I was 11 I and SO glad I had that memory with him 😍 this makes my heart happy
