I'm glad i've seen this video because i didn't know that Shakespeare was a good businessman.
The man talking says that people think of William Shakespeare as an artist or a playwright, and he is completely right, It is the same as I have thought all this time.

Shakespeare : The bane of every high school student throughout the twentieth century.

William Shakespeare died on 23 April 1616, at the age of 52...
Around 230 years after his death, doubts started to be expressed about the authorship of the works earlier attributed to William.
Proposed alternative candidates included Edward de Vere, the 17th Earl of Oxford.
A few Shakespeare scholars and literary historians and academics believe that there is reason to question the traditional attribution, and interest in the subject, particularly the Oxfordian theory of Shakespeare authorship, continues into the 21st century.

If he sounds mythical it's because he is.
At 0:55 that title page has corrupted the "Shakespeare" pseudonym to match up with the Stratford man who spelled his surname "Shakspere".
1:10 "Shakespeare (meaning the Stratford man) built the Globe" -- Burbage built the Globe, Shakspere had a 1/8 (12.5%) share in it.
3:25 "he is one of the first professional writers" -- there is no evidence that Shakspere of Stratford was ever paid to write anything. He is missing from Henslowe's log of payments to writers.
3:52 "introducing 3000 words..." With computer analysis that number is now below 500 words and that includes words which were first printed in the 1623 collection but not necessarily "coined" by the author(s)
4:40 "Shakespeare" as we use the name now, seems to be a pen name assigned to previously unpublished works in 1623. No one during Shakspere's life referred to him as a writer. The similarity of his name to the pen name may have led to using him as a front man for the authors of the works.
Stylometrics show that many authors were involved in the works. That is why "Shakespeare" is unparalleled by any other single author, eg it was not a single author.
