My uncle still buys them for the car. He's not a massive fan of fiddling around with Spotify or even an MP3 player plugged into the aux, would rather just listen to the radio (still fm or even medium wave for talksport!) Or put a CD on

I miss CD singles. They stopped manufacturing them around 2007 (in North America) b/c they were considered a waste of money to manufacture, distribute & sell in the new digital age. I'm convinced one day they will be valuable to collectors. Keep the Ride & Manic Street Preachers singles they have hardcore fans that will buy them for big money.

I still do have about 3/4 of all the CD singles I brought a long time ago (1997-2007). I have since ripped 95% of them to mp3. Then I synced those to devices like an iPad and an iPhone.

I absolutely adore cd singles too!! Too bad it is a format they don't produce anymore... And if they do, they are extremely limited (and become extremely expensive in a matter of weeks) 😪😪

The disappearance of CD Singles is why I don't really buy new singles anymore. Coming down from one in every 50, 000 UK CD Singles ever sold in 2004. Average 10 a week, not counting 2nd hands.
