I just looked at a 2024 Lexus NX350 premium and a Limited Venza yesterday. They both drove well as far as I was concerned. The dealership said getting a 350h was almost impossible, so they were recommending the 350. The prices of the NX350 AWD and the Limited Venza are really close. But the Venza is hybrid and gets much better gas mileage, has much more attractive wheels, interior was equal if not better, had many more options, and it has a little more room. As much as I would like to have a Lexus, the Venza was just nicer, in my opinion. The sales rep said an NX350h would be well over $60k total which means at least $10k more than the Limited Venza. If they switched the branding on those cars, I'd believe the Venza was the Lexus and the NX350 was a Toyota, seriously. (As an aside, they really need to do something with the ugly front ends of the RX models!)

I'm getting a Venza Tuesday. I think it's good enough, don't need the Lexus interior. I like the Venza better than the RAV 4 too. UPDATE: I’ve been through two Venzas and now I’m driving the Lexus NX. The Venzas had rattle issues and one had a fuel tank not filling up problem. Wish me luck with the NX 350h !

Just picked NX-350h yesterday for my wife for exactly the same reasons you say here in your evaluation. We went through the Venza, Rav4 and we finally decided to buy the NX-350h. Very happy with the decision we made

Venza!! I’m seeing so many young families in a Venza in my area! Very attractive eye-catching design! Great job Toyota!

Definitely the Venza. I love the classy look of the Venza.

7/15/23-I picked up my 2023 Venza Limited outside my residing state and I was in love from the pics they sent to me when she came in on the truck but I truly fell in love when I saw it in person. I got so many compliments on my vehicle while I was waiting to finish up my paper work at the dealership.

Honestly, I hate panoramic roofs. I have had sunroofs in my last 3 cars, never opened or wanted to open them. I always kept the shade pulled closed and am disappointed that more and more cars come with these panoramic roofs and cheap fabric shades vs the older solid shade that totally blocked out the strong sun in the southwest. Just not a feature I am interested in but I am more and more being forced to pay for as the non-sun/moon/star is now almost impossible to avoid except on the lowest trim levels.

It's a no-brainer! I will be getting the Venza.

I would get the venza, you save some money and the interior is actually pretty nice considering it’s a toyota

Had a 2023 Venza XLE coming in tomorrow but Toyota announced the Venza is being discontinued. I switched allegiance over to the 2024 NX350H. For 4, 000 dollars more I get a Lexus, one year newer, and a better warranty. Thats a lot of benefit for 4, 000 canadian. The only issue is I have to wait 30 days for the Lexus to come in. I think this is much better than sinking 50 g into a vehicle that will likely depreciate faster due to it being discontinued from the manufacturer, and resale has its rightful place in which vehicle to purchase.

I agree with almost everything that was mentioned in this video... EXCEPT the lost cost of repair part. It does not apply to the Lexus. I have the RX and recently needed to have the rear differential replaced. $3700(parts+labor+tax)

We really like our choice of the '21 Venza Limited. The RAV4 hybrid was louder and seemed less refined and not as nice inside. The Lexus NX hybrid (at the time) was about $10K more and didn't seem as nice or drive as nice as the Venza. Plus it used premium fuel. I really think your service experience depends on the dealership/service manager. Our Toyota service staff in Vancouver have been amazing so far. We just did an almost 5, 000km trip over the last 4 months and we're averaging around 6.2 L/100km from day 1. Love it!

I will always pick my Venza! My Venza is a 2021 Limited in Coastal Grey! It looks amazing, drives amazing and saves me a lot, a lot and a lot of money! And so very, very comfortable……

Lexus NX350H for me all day everyday. Venza is really nicely equipped for its price no doubt, and it's got a bigger backseat and has more cargo room. The NX is around $15k more similarly equipped but the difference in quality and technology is definitely felt. The NX is also equipped with a bigger battery from the highlander and the RX. Now, whether the differences are big enough to justify the difference in price is super subjective to each individual, therefore im only speaking for myself and have no intention to offend any venza owners here. Cheers.

Another plus for the RAV4 hybrid vs the hybrid versions of the Venza and Lexus, the RAV4 is towing capable.
Thank you for your reviews.

The total cost of ownership for the NX350h is 3x that of the Venza due to fuel and depreciation. This is an often overlooked point about the Venza. The Venza has a nearly identical TCO of a Tesla Model 3 and a better TCO than a Tesla Model Y, despite requiring fuel and oil changes. The NX350h robs you day one with depreciation, and then the gift that keeps on taking is that premium fuel... and if you don't put premium in it, then that horsepower gain is lost, and most likely, so will your engine be in years to come.

Thanks for the info. Could you compare Lexus NX vs Lexus RX? And if possible break down the price according to trims.
Thank you.

Same! I paid just shy of $50k for a fully loaded venza limited with the stargaze roof. When I built the Lexus online with the same specs, came out to $70k. I'm not at that stage in my life where I'm personally willing to pay for that 😂
