I love how Captain Teague is just one man and every Pirate Captain is surrounded by armed men, but the moment he nearly breaks his guitar string they all sit down.

I love how captain teague paused on playing the guitar when it was jack's turn to vote. Like it shows he wants to hear who his son want to be pirate king and was satisfied as he continued to play the guitar again

Jack knows Latin. He's more literate and intelligent than he appears to be. "Res ispa loquitur tabula in naufragio", "This is our plank in a shipwreck". And in the first scenes of the movie, when he meets Will, Hector and Elizabeth he said "Q.E.D, you're not really here". QED menas "quod erat demonstrandum". I simply love this detail. He's so intelligent and I swear he read something more than list of rums and products for a ship. Barbossa even jokes about, when he said "as per the code", which sounds a little Romance-English as well.

Barbossa accuses Jack of running away from every fight, but he won against Barbossa in the first movie in a direct fight, AND went back to "fight" the Kraken in Dead Man's Chest. He runs from a lot of fights, but not the ones that matter.

I love how enthusiastic the French pirate captain nods his head in agreement for running away. Sometimes life imitates art but this time it's the other way around.

So funny how much instant respect/influence that Jack's Dad Cap'n Teague almost commands from the rest of the Pirate Brethren Court, when they're all arguing and he breaks his guitar string at the even simple notion of possibly not keeping to the Pirate Code, they all sit down immediately and quit arguing...You'd almost think that Jack's Dad Teague would be a Pirate King.
