i’m doing gcse art and i don’t think i’ve ever been more stressed. i got such a bad grade in my mock book, and it really worries me about what grade i’m going to get for my gcse coursework as i can’t naturally do art like some people, i’m constantly comparing my artwork to everyone else’s in my class and they’re so much more talented than me. the main problem is, in the future, any job that i would want to go for would need a good grade for art, and i can’t see myself getting a grade higher than a 3/4.

I'm in year 11 and for my coursework, i got an A*, but I have my exam in May which might bring my grade down, although I'd prefer it not to. It's super stressful because I'm under a lot of pressure to finish, but even in my coursework, I worked incredibly slow. This video helped me out a lot though, thank you!

I love Art sm and I was set on doing it for GCSE but so many people are talking bad about it that I have to idea anymore lol. Its nice to FINALY hear someone talking about it in a much calmer way. I wish teachers didn't put so much pressure on us.

I agree with all except from 1:24, because – although it's good to stick with one theme – most students lose interest when sticking to one theme really quickly, and so I actually think transitioning through two or three different themes actually helps the student to maintain interest in their work.

Can we just??? I think it's stupid how we put in all this work and effort for examiners to only skim over and possibly miss things. I haven't spent the equivalent of days after school to be underhanded 😂😂😂 I get they have to mark loads of stuff but there's gotta be a better way of doing it
