Production-spec Tata Curvv walkaround - most stylish mid-sized SUV? I @odmag

At the ongoing Bharat Mobility Expo in New Delhi, Tata Motors showcased the new Curvv. The coupe-style SUV is 4,308mm long, 1,810mm wide, and 1,630mm tall with a wheelbase of 2,560mm. At first, the Curvv will be available with the 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 115PS and 260Nm of torque. This motor will be paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. Car of the Year 2024. Another Blockbuster from tata motors

No doubt the design is awesome; however, somehow it gives a dilemma whether its an SUV or a sedan (the Coupe factor).

I hope the production model doesnt get so many shiny plastic bits, at least on the exterior. They are very much prone to scratches.
Design wise, aside from the yawning gap at the rear wheel well, I think it looks interesting. Its sad that manufacturers make 5 seater cars without proper adjustable headrest, I mean how much extra will it even cost them? Just sad.

Talk about overusing the same front look across the entire range. A good guess game whenever you have a modern Tata car in your rear view mirror.

Same design language.. All most all tata car looks the same from the front.. Only tiago tigor and altroz looks different I guess.. Rest all tata cars has the same front design.. No exclusivity with the design anymore..

Is it just me or others have noticed that the rear suspension is a bit jacked up.

This makes the rear wheel look small and the gap huge.

This just looks like latest Nexon with extra trunk. Expected a major leap in design to compete with Seltos & Elevate.

It's quite disappointing in terms of both exterior and interior design specially in interior design because they have used the exact same interior design of nexon that to when they will position it a segment above nexon. In my opinion the interior design should have been heavily inspired by the original concept that they showed in 2022 ofcourse with some production changes but still new and fresh to the eyes. You know in time like these you feel the absence of Pratap Bose Tata Motors previous Head Of Design because he always says you need to fight to defend your ideas to get them to production varient.And after seeing the production version of curvv i can clearly say that fighting spirit is clearly missing in Tata Motors current head of design Martin Ulharik.
