Jeff Bezos says he's proud of working conditions at Amazon. Workers say they're surveilled, treated like robots, and forced to work in a grueling and unsafe environment. Now these warehouse workers in Alabama are organizing to demand change.

They definitely need a union. Jeff is stupid to think it's not trying to silence his workers. It's greedy and disgusting.

Everything these people are saying is 💯 percent true! The Reason I quit was because of the mandatory over time that would random show up on my schedule anytime they felt like it. Yep no thanks goodbye! They need a union!

The problem in America is that employers think it's a major privilege that your working for them . That's why we have such horrible working conditions.

Shop local and boycott Amazon people we can survive without always shopping on line. We did it long before internet was even around. Stop making these people rich. Stand for what is correct.

I worked in HR and just quit after 9 months. I had a doctor’s note for fainting and they wouldn’t honor it because I said I had a blue badge. I found out people on the job had their doctor’s notes honored. My UPT was taken away while I was in the hospital. I’m going to DOL, EEOC, and unemployment. My veteran preference and status was not honored.

I will never order anything from Amazon again. I will let people know about this video and hope they will follow. These big corporations are treating their workers like trash and getting away with too much. So glad they're being exposed.

Sorry to say this but the rich people do not care if you break down because they can replace you, all they care about is the money they are getting

I could laugh at Bezos.. "we have a very good communication with our employees and so we don't feel the need for an intermediary (union)".
I'll bet you don't 😂

you guys need to unionize quickly before you are replaced by robots. you'll be replaced either way, but if you set the precedence of unionizing, you'll help set up a better system for everyone and you'll probably be able to fight for some kind of severance before they replace you. do it before it's too late. i'm boycotting amazon until your working conditions are better.

I had a friend from community college that was transferring to George Mason University and during the summer between transfers, he worked at a Amazon warehouse. From what he told me, the working conditions are absolutely horrible and there are almost no safety standards. It was so strict, you could get pay deducted for just going to the bathroom or drinking water during a work shift. The worst part is if you clocked out late, aka worked longer than you should have which is very common in blue collar work, they would punish you by writing you up to management and sometimes docking pay as well. Anyways, he was working a shift near the 4th of july and a bunch of boxes that weren't stacked very well fell on his head. At first it seemed like it was nothing, just a small bump but later that year when he went to gmu, he had trouble concentrating in class and would at times even black out occasionally. He finally went to the doctor and was told he suffered some sort of concussion. GMU would not accept his accommodations for this injury and Amazon refused to acknowledge any responsibility for the incident. What a fair system we all live under.

I am in Texas. I work for LifeFlight. I have had many conversations with Amazon employees at a food place we frequent. Everything these few have said is true. They stay working because of the pay. That owner is a horrible person. He could double their pay and not even feel it. He could make the changes and still do business with happy employees. He could install more rest rooms, so they don't have to walk so far. He is not good people.

I worked for Amazon through a temp agency and it didn't work out. I was working fast and it wasn't fast enough for them. I was standing for 10 hour and my feet hurt all the time. I will never work for Amazon though a temp agency again.

People who are ridiculing amazon workers for complaining have never worked in a warehouse. They are mot lazy and they want to be treated like humans not some machine.
