Personally I ADORE this time of year. I find it very peaceful and still. The muffled sounds with a fresh snowfall delight me. I love to snowshoe in the forest every day. The twinkling lights in the darkness. I totally get the Dutch idea of hygge (sp?) the art of living a cozy life. In my opinion, it's best to avoid watching a lot of tv and embrace this short time of year when we are released from the tv notion of the perfect life. By the way, I live in northern Ontario in Canada and we do get a real winter here, not always slushy and damp. I love your videos Terri. Thank you!

Creating fun rituals for myself that I only participate in during the lack daylight months has really helped me. For example, My partner and I work out in his shop durring his lunch break. He lifts weights, I cycle or yoga.

I ignore the winter. I go out and cycle and walk. Only the intensive sports I do inside in the Gym. Further more I get a massage🐾 once a week. The only bad thing is that I am hungry like hell in the winter... 🐷... meaning I have to do more sports in the spring 🚲🚲🚲🚲😉 Thanks Terri 🤗

Oh Boy ! Divine timing of my advice 😀
So i had a laser eye surgery and my cornea was not healing AT ALL. Doctors were not able to figure out for days that i had Vit D3 deficiency. i started the Vit D3 tabletes called D-RISE 60K (that's the name). Dude, this little guy was my life saviour. I took it for like a week and my cornea recovered . I am from India and its winter now 😀
Also i hardly go out in sun coz i hate tanning. I already have a brownish pink skin. Ladies....please use this tab.

Hi Terri, good topic, haven’t seen you on in a bit . Good to see you back . Winter can be a double edge sword, and for sure lack of sunlight . My Dr recommended because of it to take 2, 000 iu Vitamin D, daily, helps allot . Also like the reason to stay in out of the cold and watch a movie with hot chocolate . lol . Although Quieting the mind is good , I tapped into Buddhism late 90 ‘s because of Deepak Chopra, always grateful . I myself Chant NMRK (Nam Myoho Renge Kyo)morning & night, or anytime, 9 yrs now as a buddhist with the SGI, and Rev up the engine of life and engage all the good and Bad to create value . Very action orientated practice . Maybe you can do a topic on coming into spring as for many it can be depressing as the new vibrant season approaches many feel seeing others starting anew that they are stuck . Although the holidays are emotionally charged, and suicides occur, more people become depressed as spring approaches and more commit suicide. With nothing to look forward to, many think in society that more suicides occur during holidays . Actually statistically more occur right before spring . Like to hear your take on this as spring nears .Ty .Keep up the good works . Here is my newest video, and started a Prevention group recently to continue to help save lives .

Hi Terri. Delighted to see you posting videos again. I missed you! <3 Very important topic for me. Yes I need to flip my script and have been making a conscious effort this year to do so. I have found that even having my Vit D levels at optimum levels makes no difference to my symptoms yet I just have to spend 15 mins outdoors in even winter sunshine and I feel so much better. Could I ask a favour? Would it be possible not to touch your camera when you are recording? The constant shift of focus and image makes it difficult for me to watch and concentrate on what you are saying. TIA
