10 Movies On Disney+ That Didn't Age Well (Lady And The Tramp, The Jungle Book)

Disney Plus Included A Huge Disney Movie And Show Archive
Disney has been around the block. They’ve been making movies since all the way back in the 1920s, some of them better than others. Now, they’re all being released at the same time onto Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+.
This is good and bad. It’s great that we get to go back and revisit the Disney canon in its entirety, but there are some chapters of Disney’s past that are best to leave in the past.
Take Song of The South, for example. It’s a blatantly pro-confederate film about the good ol’ days before the Civil War. Thankfully, Disney has been trying to erase this one from the history books since the 1990s. But there are others that are available to stream on Disney+ that are insensitive in the same ways, if to a slightly lesser degree. Like Dumbo, which has a crow named “Jim Crow.” This was not an accident by any means and Disney acknowledges it by inserting a disclaimer into the movie’s description, warning prospective viewers that there are some “outdated cultural depictions” in the movie.
That’s not the only reason that movies are dated though. There are some with ancient CGI and others that just don’t really make sense to the 21st Century mind.
