I live in Fl and went through Hurricane Irma and it was horrible. We are all still suffering from it. Her makeup look doesn't really bother me. I could care less.

I'm betting the people upset by the hurricane eye look haven't even been through a hurricane. I just went through Irma here in Florida and I thought her message was sweet and supportive. Not to mention that her eye look is so realistic!! It's amazing!! It's looks just like the radar reports and it's even going in a circular motion. That eye look is amazing.

It's not disrespectful, it's JUST makeup. She's clearly creative. Good for her! Eyeshadow isn't going to stop flooding, and may just make those not affected more aware of what's going on. And that's my opinion from Jacksonville, Florida.

I am a survivor of hurricane Harvey. Right now, my home is gutted and the majority of belongings are piled up in my front yard waiting to be be picked up with the rest of the trash. So...

I honestly find it ridiculous that people are upset about the "hurricane look" post. Makeup is art. People make art about all kinds of difficult things in life. For many, art is a way to help process the hard stuff. Art is a way to process tragedy. Take the ugly and try to find something beautiful in all the mess.

It really feels like people are trying to go out of their way to find something to be offended about.
