Thank God I ran across this video between sobs. As an old Boomer who knows nothing & had no one to show me how to design my own website from scratch, url & all, I somehow glided a whole year sans bot attacks. After spending hours stopping then rewinding what you said to figure out how to enact almost all these suggestions, I had 0 login attempts in the last 24 hours. And TY for the 2-factor authentication warning, steered clear of that. Yay.

Thanks for this video. I've been not feeling confident about using Wordfence or iThemes to my clients, I love the amount of settings where you can really dig into the stuff that you want to protect without just having a company forcing you to trust that they're doing all these extra things. This is a game changer.

I have been using this plugin for years. Imran is correct, it takes a while to do all the settings, but then you can export the settings, and then import them on any new websites you create. It only takes about 30 seconds to configure a new website. After installing this plugin + WordFence, I have had zero hacker issues. Had plenty of issues before installing these plugins. Thanks, Imran for a great video. Imran, the highest I could get my Strength score was 325, but that's worked out great for me.

Great video and content Imran, thank you so much for making this! One thing I usually see issues with is that my website headers are vulnerable. I didn't see anything specific about that in this plugin, is that handled by the PHP Firewall setting? Also, you mentioned you didn't enable the XML firewall setting because there was a warning. Would you typically recommend that/how can we avoid getting that XML firewall warning? Again, thanks so much for creating this video, hope to hear back!

What one security Plugin is important in 2024 to have installed on my client websites?

Rather use the free WordFence 2FA Plugin. Never had any issues with it in about 5years. Also, don't change your wp-login location, it's not best practise (according to WordFence anyway) and any site can be scanned using a dead-link checker to find your actual login page. :)

Hello! First of all, I wanted to thank you for this clear and simple tutorial! I am following a checklist of things to do before launching my website and one of them is installing Yoast SEO (recommended). Now, I am not installing that one as I preferred this one instead but in one of the Yoast SEO features is to add social share images. Does All in One WP Security have that feature? If not, is that necessary? 🤔

Iman - with any 2FA, always save and print the 2FA Backup codes, incase you get locked out.
