His lyrics are always so hilarious. I'm sure A loves him, too.

I'm working on Intermediate Songbooks now and when they are done I'll be doing loads of videos from them too. There are lots of intermediate level songs on the web site in the Songs area...

How do you play the riff? You played it but you didn't teach us how

Yes!! This is perfect thank you so much!! I love it when you sing the chords, that totally sticks in my head. I've only been learning for 3 weeks, I only want to strum simple songs but zero knowledge musically, so THANK YOU for breaking it down so simply. I did it!! Xxx

This song is a part of Justin's lesson series. It's normal for teachers to simplify songs to fit a pupil's knowledge level, and at this stage he has only taught the A, D and E chords as mentioned in the description. There's always scope for students to revisit songs as they learn more and embellish.

Again Cheers and Thank you for this Justin. I have learned so much from this site. When I do get a little cash I will be sure to send it.

Helped me a lot, just having trouble with strumming, I can't seem to get the rhythm right but I guess that takes practice! :)

Hey Justin.... I Beatles song I would love to learn is "I Will".  Is that also an easy song to play on guitar?

Great lesson Justin!

For all those concerned about the original being in G... If you capo at the 10th fret as Justin explains and play these same three chords A, D & E you end up with G, C & D...

... You can change this song to any key to suit your vocal range by simply adding a capo - this is just a superb introduction to song using open chords in the first position.

this was the first song I learned on harmonica and now, thanks to you Justin, I can play it on both!

A D E are easier to play, especially for a beginner like me (transitioning from an A to a D chord is very easy once you get the hang of it) but when you play it open using C G D sounds more like the record though it’s harder

Nice 3 chords tune by the fab four. If you want to get the bouncy feel of the original use alternating bass on the 1st and 3rd of each A (originally G) and strum the chord on 2nd and 4th (all 1/4) then bass (1/4) -up-down (1/8) - rest (1/8)- up-down-up (1/8) on the D (originally C).

Why is everyone playing it in G .   G- C - G- C    then D    Its sounds better .

Just played your chords along with the actual Beatles track, from 1, and I thought I was tone def all of a sudden. Then I realized they ARE NOT playing A-D-E. They are actually playing G major, C major, D major.

The point is that in his website he has all his lessons in order with these videos. And the only chords he teaches in Stage 1 are D, A, and E, he taught an easy way to play them without moving your index finger off the fretboard. He is applying it in this video. C and G cannot be played in the same matter. When I say they can play certain chords with ease, I mean without stuttering when they are changing to the chord. New beginners cannot exchange from C and G with ease as soon as they learn it.
