Specialized's Levo SL has pushed the boundaries of what an e bike can do with its light weight, long range and new technology. In the decade since the first eMTBs hit the scene the new turbo Levo SL looks like a real game changer for the genre, mixing up the boundaries between enduro bikes and e mountain bikes. I'm 63, was still riding my ten-year old Stumpjumper, and had to cut my riding down to once or twice a week because of knee pain. It became a miserable experience. I purchased my Levo SL two weeks ago and have completely fallen back in love with Mt. biking. Fantastic handling, the perfect amount of aided power and best of all--no more knee pain. I've been riding six days a week now. I'm exploring, riding faster, and again look forward to going out. I'm getting to know all the fantastic trails around my Hurricane home and absolutely love it. Thanks Specialized.

Great review! Even at 72 years of age, I went with the SL. Have ridden more in the past ten days than I had for all of last year...LOL

I have the Turbo Levo Expert, my wife the Levo Comp Carbon and we love them. The bike is a solid, capable mountain climber and nibble all at the same time. I am a taller and larger rider so I appreciate the extra power but the new SL will fit the bill for many, especially new eBike riders. For those naysayers to eBikes I suggest you ride one. Yes they are somewhat costly but the joy you gain and the trails you can conquer will astound you. Specialized makes a great bike be it mountain or road, eBike or not and my wife and I have both of each. Try the new SL, or the full blown Levo, you will not be disappointed.

That noise 😩😩😩 I’m so proud of my very quiet Brose motor. Now they have their own noisy whinny high pitch annoying motor. That’s a game changer on the negative side for me!

The bike looks awesome. But sorry the price for specialized bikes is way to much compared to other Brands with the same or better specs.
Take Canyon or yt for example.

I'm appreciating the fact that Specialized seems to be settling in on this Side-Arm frame design for their E-Bikes. It's reassuring to know that my 2020 LEVO won't look outdated any time soon.

Come on EMBN seriously, I know Specialized are one of your main sponsors and you have to jump through hoops for them but 11K for the S works model WTF!!!. 5K starting price for a very basic model. So its now clear that Specialized think everyone are millionaires! Get bloody real for gods sake!!

How is it that you can buy a motorcycle with turn signals, fuel tank, internal combustion engine, transmission, digital gauges, larger alloy wheels etc versus an e-bike with a battery and small electric motor and the e-bike can cost more money? For example, a 2020 Kawasaki Ninja 650R is $7, 400 and the S-works Turbo Levo SL is $20, 000. WTF

It's a Specialized advert. Same on all the videos out today. Every channel just sprouting the Specialized prepared words and specs...

My Levo has been in for warranty repairs, new motor, new wiring etc. for eight (8) weeks of my 15 months of ownership. Currently just sitting in the shop waiting for a new motor. Buyer beware. I have also been told not to ride it in the rain or any resulting damage will not be covered by warranty. LOL. Dry weather MTB. Lucky I live in Australia and rain is rare.

Bought it, love it. Maybe the best bike I’ve ridden. As much snap out of corners as my evil offering and power to take the sting out of any climb. Biggest overlooked point compared to my 19 Levo is if it’s turned off there is no resistance, it totally decouples. I could pedal it out of anywhere with the 1x12. The OG levo is a bit of a pig to fly home dead stick

It’s all comes down to your budget, I would absolutely love to own this bike but my bank account doesn’t allow me to purchase it sadly...

Kudos to Specialized for expanding the e-mtn bike appeal with the Levo SL. Will have to try one out but really don't see me abandoning my Kenevo Expert anytime soon.
