Victoria on track to end lockdown

Victoria's fifth COVID lockdown is on track to end on Tuesday but several restrictions are expected to remain in place for weeks.

Health authorities say daily COVID-19 results are very encouraging, as Friday's 14 new infections were all linked to current outbreaks.

Mask restrictions are set to remain in place and there will be caps on private and public gatherings, with Premier Daniel Andrews insisting people must stay on alert.

We have always lived as vaccinated and unvaccinated in the community. Now if all of a sudden they are not going to allow the unvaccinated to move freely in the community then there needs to be a refund of taxes, motor registration, rates and health insurance etc. because that would go against basic human rights. Would the community really allow people to starve, children and elderly to go without health, go without social interaction, medical help, work to support families, allow homelessness, poverty. Think about that. It’s never been a problem before, why is it all of a sudden a big beast. Food for thought.
