Using 100% Drugstore Cruelty Free Makeup... or is it?

I've gotten a ton of requests to do a video dedicated to cruelty free drugstore makeup. The truth is, a lot of products I talk about regularly are cruelty free! However, there is a lot of gray area around that label, and some people interpret it differently than others. So while I do a full face of cruelty free drugstore makeup, I'll also be chatting about all the nuances behind that term, what makes each brand cruelty free, or if their status has been debated. We'll talk about the cruelty free vegan makeup stance, the question of is Physicians Formula cruelty free, and parent companies.

I only use cruelty free brands! Not as picky about vegan too, but definitely picky about cruelty free. When I found out maybelline was not cruelty free, I threw out all of their mascaras that I had.

With the PF and W+W controversies, just to add, they are owned by the same company Markwins. This company also owns Lorac. I stopped buying from them when I discovered they were selling in China simply for their dishonesty.
Nice video :) One of my fave brands is Kiko milano, not as cheap as most drugstore brands, but in the same realm as say Maybelline and the likes. I enjoy Catrice and Essence very much too :)
