As an amateur with passion for singing, only when I started practicing live with my PA system into a quite sensitive Sennheiser 945, I've come to understand what it trully means to be a good singer...You are immediately stripped of all illusion and only hard work and humility will allow you to climb to a higher level.
It was a brutal but very important experience that allowed me to grow.
Your channel is my new discovery. You are very good at what you're doing!

Woah I’ve been having this question in on mind for a long while and I still couldn’t figure it out. Because if I sing softly or softer it comes off bad ad struggle but if I sing loud it’s loud but my normal voice. Then you upload this video. So frustrating

Hey Harvey! 🎶 Thanks for this insightful video on why we might sing too loud. 🎤💥 Loved the tips on using mics and understanding vocal dynamics! 🙌 Your advice on balancing volume with style is super helpful. 👍 Certainly worth trying these out! 🎵😄

I sing in a 7 piece band and I find myself singing too loud because I just can’t hear myself well enough often

When singing Robbie Williams' Angels, there is a part in the chorus ("through it ALL") where I have to push on my voice to reach the note. I think I am going too loud. My voice squeaks on that note when I'm not warm, meaning I actually need the volume. If I don't push, it doesn't sound real. The emotion is not as genuine because the strength is not there. The interpretation becomes fakery.
