LYRICS
I'm drunk off your kiss
For another night in a row
This is becoming too routine for me
But I did not mean to lead you on
And it's all right to pretend
That we still talk
It's just for show, isn't it
It's my fault that it fell apart

Just maybe
You need this
And I didn't mean to
Lead you on

You were everything I wanted
But I just can't finish what I've started
There's no room left here on my back
It was damaged long ago
Though you swear that you are true
I still pick my friends over you
My friends over you

Please tell me everything,
That you think that I should know
About all the plans we made
When I was never to be found
And it's all right to forget
That we still talk
It's just for fun, isn't it
It's my fault that it fell apart

'cause maybe you need this
And I didn't mean to
Lead you on

You were everything I wanted
But I just can't finish what I've started
There's no room left here on my back
It was damaged long ago
Though you swear that you are true
I still pick my friends over you
My friends over you

Just maybe you need this
You need this
And I didn't mean to
Lead you on

You were everything I wanted
But I just can't finish what I've started
There's no room left here on my back
It was damaged long ago
Though you swear that you are true
I still pick my friends over you

I feel this. Im 32, with a career, and I still miss the mid 90s through early 2000s. There is nothing else like it. Staying the night at friends over endless summers, pizza, mtn dew or surge, 8 hr Goldeneye tournaments, hearing my best friends crazy dad yelling at the shitheads across the street, and all the time in the world. I am glad that I knew it wouldn't last. Good things rarely do. I really savored those times.

14 years old watching this on fuse after school. Cold mountain dew and feet kicked up. Life was good. Little did we know.

I’m 34 now, married with kids and I randomly play my “Sticks and Stones” album and it takes me back to my long hair skateboarding days. This is awesome.

its time for an acoustic only album. times have changed and we've all grown up a bit, never forgetting where we came from. acoustic, this is still us.

I’ll just be over here hoping and wishing for an acoustic release.
Go old school and bring in the MTV Unplugged format!

The last 18 years have flown by. It feels like only yesterday that we were care free teenagers jamming to this in summers that seemed to last forever. In the blink of an eye I'm nearly 30, mortgaged up, a dad and 9 to 5er. Thanks for the nostalgia New Found Glory, love my lot but damn do I miss these days!

It's weird as I recognize they're getting older, yet I still view them in their 20's. And still to this day, they remain my heroes just as they did all those years ago. Keep rockin!

It's amazing how music can bring back memories.

I'm turning 30 this year. This song takes me back to the 2000s, playing gamecube with buddies all night, skateboarding, hanging out downtown, things were simple back then. I'm not sad it's over, I'm glad it happened. I loved every moment of it. Nostalgia is a very special feeling.

Still one of the all time greatest to ever do it. And their concerts are just as good now as they were back in the day. AMAZING to see live!
