Bloody hell 27 years old. Why the hell didn't her Dr send her for a CT scan. These incompetent Dr's are literally killing people. This is heartbreaking.

The system is broken. Worked on it for 5 years NHS, suffered from it as a patient, and looking forwards to working as a pancreatic cancer research on this particular subject as a biomed graduate hopefully i can get out of homelessness first 😢things are tough. With no one to help me but myself. * *sigh* *

I am 23 and got told today that its unlikely they'll be able to get a CT scan through me because of my age despite me voicing my fears and symptoms. I understand it is unlikely but that doesn't mean impossible and I am so terrified

Gosh that’s terrible. My husband was diagnosed far too late too. He was 58 years old and I lost him 3 months after diagnosis.

Doctors don't do the right test when people complain about things.
I'm in the same boat. Had many symptoms, enzyme spike, weight loss, abdominal discomfort.
GP just said pancreatitis no further test until 2 months later I complained about left side back pain. Kaiser.

I am watching this with great fear.. I have been stressed from a relationship breakup and we have kids together.. which lead to a panic attack a year ago..
I have had some history of more frequent diarre the last 9 months but thought nothing of it.
I have had abdominal pain for nearly 4 weeks now and now I seem to suffer from prediabtic symptoms, , (high fasting glykos levels), dry mouth and such.. I even feel that I have began developing a slighty sore back..
I went to the doctor and since i have a history of stress and panic they just meassured my blood sugar (6.3) which i feel was high since i had walked 5k prior to the meeting and just had a couple of bites of apple and two slices of orange at least an 1.5 hours before the meeting.
Yesterday i felt a lump on my backhead.. Not sure If I had that before, or at least so pronounced.
I will meassure my blood sugar this sunday morning, , and go to the weekend reception and get an opinion on this mornings sugar count and the fact that I have a lump.. which could be a secondary brain tumör which originally came from the pancreas.
THen I have maybe 4 weeks to live.
