So a little clarification: Rochelle is a kid who adores a sport. Her mom was an influencer and also someone who couldn't keep a job to care for her kids.

Since she couldn't keep a job, Rochelle knew her mom wouldn't be able to cover the costs of what she'd need for her sports. Rochelle ended up selling the nice shoes her mom had saved up to get her.

If I said it was a show, then that's what I meant, clearly one person in the comments section understood it, which is quite crazy to me considering I put no commas in this very simple reply.
