Atakama Encryption for BigID

With the integration of Atakama and BigID, you can definitively answer the question: Where is my sensitive data, and how am I protecting that data from a cyber attack?

BigID allows you to scan file share locations on prem or in the cloud to determine which files contain sensitive data (pause), then Atakama automatically encrypts those files with our innovative multi factor, distributed key architecture (pause). When, we run the “protect” action from the Atakama App in the BigID Marketplace. BigID classifies the files that contain sensitive data by applying a label to the file, and Atakama reads that label and selectively encrypts only the files that contain sensitive data.

Using the Atakama mobile app, the user simply taps the notification on their mobile device to decrypt and access the files they wish to open. By utilizing Atakama File Encryption and BigID Data Classification side by side, you know with certainty where your sensitive data resides, and that it is protected at all times.
