Here we covert IGES body which is in surface into solid body by simply increasing tolerance while using sew command.
in this video we use 1) sew 2) Unsew 3) Join face (legacy) 4) Remove parameter commands.

In Siemens NX, there are several methods to convert surface or sheet bodies into solid bodies, depending on the specific requirements of your design. Here are some common approaches:

1. **Thicken Command**:
- The Thicken command in Siemens NX allows you to convert surface bodies into solid bodies by specifying a thickness value. This command creates a solid body by offsetting the surface inward or outward by the specified thickness. It works well for converting single or multiple surface bodies into solid bodies.

2. **Offset and Sew**:
- If you have surface bodies that are closed and watertight, you can use the Offset command to create an offset surface from each surface body. After creating the offset surfaces, you can use the Sew command to join them together into a single, closed surface body. Finally, you can use the Thicken command to convert the closed surface body into a solid body.

3. **Boolean Operations**:
- Siemens NX provides Boolean operations such as Union, Subtract, and Intersect, which allow you to combine or modify existing solid bodies. If you have a solid body and a surface body that intersect or overlap, you can use Boolean operations to merge them together, resulting in a single solid body.

4. **Extrude and Sweep**:
- If you have a closed profile (such as a sketch or curve) that represents the boundary of a surface body, you can use the Extrude or Sweep commands to create a solid body by extruding or sweeping the profile along a specified path. This method is useful for converting 2D profiles into solid bodies.

5. **Fill Surface**:
- The Fill Surface command in Siemens NX allows you to create a smooth, continuous surface that fills in the gap between multiple surface edges. If you have an open surface body with boundary edges, you can use the Fill Surface command to create a closed surface body. You can then use the Thicken command to convert the closed surface body into a solid body.

6. **Surface Stitch**:
- Siemens NX provides the Surface Stitch command, which allows you to stitch together multiple surface bodies into a single, closed surface body. Once you have a closed surface body, you can use the Thicken command to convert it into a solid body.

These are some of the common methods for converting surface or sheet bodies into solid bodies in Siemens NX. Depending on the specific geometry and requirements of your design, you may choose one method over another to achieve the desired result efficiently and accurately.
