As part of the Before I Die NM Virtual Festival, Mandy Benoualid, President of Keeper, presented "How to Hold a Virtual Memorial Service." She shared her family's experience with her grandmother's death in 2020 due to COVID-19. Despite the restrictions placed on gatherings due to the pandemic, her family was able to hold a virtual memorial service that connected and uplifted their family at a time of mourning.

The videos cover topics such as new trends in funerals and cemeteries, green burial, obituary writing, estate planning, creating memorable, meaningful memorial services, life after death, preparing advance healthcare directives, medical aid-in-dying, downsizing, and New Mexico's Office of the Medical Investigator (OMI).

I must have started a dozen videos, yours is the only one I finished! It was by far the most interesting. You got to the point a whole lot quicker than anyone else! The outline of the steps ie; 1. Time & Date 2. Allocate Roles 3. Online Memorial Space/Page 4. Video Conferencing Tool etc. etc. I found the most helpful. You covered a great amount with sound practical suggestions. Thank You.
What I did not find was the PDF link ....

My grandma passed away 2 days ago of covid19. Her oxygen levels got very low and she had a stroke. Thank you for sharing 🙏🏻 it’s incredibly difficult that we can’t have a proper funeral or a memorial service

Just a helpful criticism: work on not saying, UM, and And Um constantly, Be better prepared with a script so And Um, isn't said. It is very annoying to listen to.
