Sharing of resources, (i.e. EMR's), and working in tandem (clinical research) will certainly be a game changer as far as healthcare is concerned and in my opinion a model that will need to be adopted on a national level. Healthcare systems can't continue to operate in silo's. Due to the necessity of staying relevant, cross collaboration and integration will have to happen. Lowering costs, increasing patient access and improving the quality of care is paramount. Collaboration is key. Nice video!

I have documented a number of serious chronic problems at Swedish - including I.T. problems - a lack of supervision of residents - and the inability to even take a lab and honestly report the results. I now walk around on a 3-toed foot because for 6 weeks they told me all of my labs looked good - uninfected toes - infection ruled out -- then after the amputation I saw that no - they hadn't read the initial labs - because they were positive for Staph -- I have never been so furious in my life.
