You can hate the man all you want, but there’s no denying he was AEW’s biggest draw they’ve ever had. Without him there would be no $1 Million dollar gates on PPV’s, merchandise sales wouldn’t have been at it’s highest, and ratings and ticket sales wouldn’t have been so stagnant. He’s somebody that actually gave a damn about AEW and help push it forward. He helped elevate the next generation, guys like Darby Allin, MJF, and Ricky Starks whom are now the top and fastest rising stars in the company today. Unfortunately all of his success in AEW made certain children jealous which prompted Hangman to go into business for himself and the Elite/Meltzer to create a smear campaign against him. It’s becoming more evident that the EVPs don’t want real talent in their company, they’d rather have them and in their gymnastic PWG buddies run the show and cater to a niche audience that’s on the internet.

Punk was confronted on Television about Colt Cabanna by a coworker, that’s what caused the first mess, “You owe Colt Cabanna money and you want me to shake your hand?” He got asked to talk to Jack Perry about the glass stunt, because everyone else was afraid to tell the little bastard no, gets mocked again on TV the same day AEW management “accidentally” botched his travel plans and got him lost in another country. I’m surprised he even did this match.

Man i never really liked this guy probably never will but i really hope thatvue returns tonwwe and ends his career the right way the way he wants and deserves i feel like any good enough wrestler whos still healthy enough to do it should have their own retirement tour in some capacity

However after hearing the background behind this natch how he got in an altercation backstage right before he came out out and basically walked through the curtain knowing this was his last match in the company and maybe forever in fromt of that crowd against one of his best friends and arguable biggest rival

That must have been a crazy feeling walking to the ring with all that on your shoulders part of me thinks it was possibly the best last match ever if he never comes back
