I don't like the use of the phrase "wasting my time" because games are made to _waste_ your time and are not a job where you need to be efficient. It is usually used to express a disagreement with design choice and people don't understand the difference between "bad design" and "design I don't like"
That being said, You gave one of the few examples that this term is absolutely warranted.
