Omg….seriously?? And what happens to her should something happen to her husband ?? ALL women should have a skill set they can fall back on! I’m a nurse…Called by God…I had a career before marriage, was a stay home mom when I had kids. Now my kids are grown and I have resumed my career. I know if anything should happen to my husband I have a means to support myself and work at a place where I have health insurance. AND I’m being a blessing to so many in need as well as I’m enjoying the heck out of what I do each day.

The government requires you 12 year long years of school. You are working for your career longer in your lifetime than you will be working for a spouse. In fact, the time you work for your spouse only less a few quarters of your life. A career is your entire life. Also people go into careers by choice. You find out what you want to be as a kid then when you grow up, you’ll be that. If it’s a housewife, good for her. If it’s not a housewife just as good for her. Because either way those were dreams and aspirations GOD gave her! And I think if God loves us unconditionally, he’d be happy to see us working to help people in nursing.

At no point did Lori ever suggest taking away a woman's CHOICE. She pointed out the wisdom of choosing Biblical/godly family life over the career trap that has snared, drained and destroyed so many women.
