🎈 How to Make a Balloon Weight 🎈Balloon Weight DIY / How to Make Make Heavy Balloon Weights

In this balloon tutorial, I show you how to make a balloon weight for decor. These weights are really heavy and I use them in my number balloon bouquet displays.

Making a balloon weight that's heavy enough to weight your balloon decor display can be tricky. For large displays, you need a heavy weight to weigh down your balloon display so that it's stable and stays exactly where it should.

So, in this balloon video, I'm showing you how to make a balloon weight that's heavier than any balloon weights you can buy ... in my experience anyway.

Remember, the size of the water weight you need will depend on the size and type of balloon display you are creating. Larger balloon arrangements will require a larger weight.

Thanks Melanie, that's brilliant, I was looking for a solution to keep my outdoor projector screen from billowing in the wind and this is the ticket. My only concern is puncturing the balloons and getting sand all over the place.

When I make sand weights or water weights I use the same technique except I inflate the balloon, twist it to hold the air in and then put the nozzle over the bottle opening while making sure not to let the balloon unwise. Once the balloon is on the bottle let the balloon untwist and empty contents into the balloon. Hold the neck of the balloon and carefully remove the bottle. Slowly release the excess air out of the balloon and tie as usual. Thank you so much for the tips and tricks I enjoyed them very much. I've used a smaller bottle and wasn't happy with the size or weight. Thank you for the video, I can't wait to use a larger bottle next time. Oh, the twist at the end will help too, I'm tired of having sand spit back at me. 🤣 Great tips!!

I like sand weights, but I always make a mess and then it ends up popping my inflated balloons when I place them onto my work area .
