These flags are known as Ensigns in flag-terms; the Union Jack is placed in the 'canton' which is the top-left, and in the 'fly' you normally have a shield or symbol.

I like the old flag of Tuvalu of the late 90s (1996-1997) because since they aren't a colony or department of the Uk (just like French Guyana of France) they really need to update their own flag just like what Jack said at his geoghraphy channel to update the Fiji flag but an other flag since they didn't like the 1996 to 1997 flag pretty sure in the future they will change their own flag without the union jack.

if you dont know what echuca is, its a town in northern victoria along the murray river which separates victoria and nsw (new south wales) and most people in victoria view as a good holiday/fishing spot but in the summer it can reach 40 degrees celsius (if there isnt a la nina). i went a few years back with my family and it was exhaustingly hot
