Makita XT706 7-Piece Cordless Combo Kit UNBOXING

I construct a lot of DIY projects for my garden. To date, I’ve done them all with a corded drill driver, a corded circular saw and hand tools. It’s very inefficient to work like this, and I’ve been looking into upping my game with cordless power tools for awhile.

Makita tools are very high quality, and purchasing a combo kit like this is an excellent way to save money. These tools mostly use brushed motors – they are not all brushless power tools – and are geared for residential use, not commercial use, so keep that in mind. Great choice. I bought my 7 peice makita set 8 yrs ago. I use it everyday as a commercial electrician. Still working great. Have fun with them!

Makita kit is fantastic but your car is cool too

I was a framer for 12 years Makita is great
I don’t like using battery powered Skil saw‘s in general just not strong enough
But for backyard stuff and around the house it’s perfect

Just bought a similar Milwaukee Kit. Super excited for it to arrive. I would have also gotten Makita if I had not already had some other M18 platform tools. Once you're invested in a platform, you're kind of stuck in it since the batteries don't come cheap.

Look around for two more batteries and a double charger, you will need it I promise you, enjoy your tools that is part of the fun of building. OH and watch Ave you will learn about Makita tools from a professional or how to swear one or the other, enjoy.

$499 is extremely cheap for an 8 piece kit.... this same kit costs triple that in New Zealand sadly for me. Would buy from Amazon but not sure about warranty cover.. blower is basically useless but otherwise great kit

You bought that for 500 dollars haha. Here in croatia (europe), you can buy makita charger, 5ah battery and cheapest circular saw for 500 dollars haha. And thats if u catch the sales haha
