I adore navy with camel or beige in the fall/winter and with white or ivory in spring/summer. It is a bit harder to find designer bags in navy but both Tory Burch and Brahmin have navy bags as limited editions that are lovely. I think navy is kinder on your face as you age. And nothing looks better than navy and pink or navy and spring green for a May or June wedding. So fresh.

I was about 10 when my grandmother bought me a burgundy colored dress and I have loved it for more than 60 years. Black washes my complexion out and I learned that I had to combine it with other colors or choose one of the others that you featured.

I don't like wearing black especially near my face. The world is depressing enough, I certainly don't want to walk out the door in head to toe black. I always chose Wine, Dark Green or Camel instead of black. Great video.

paisley with a complimentary solid color
houndstooth, dogtooth, stripes with bold florals
creams and off whites with grey /charcoal, lavender
Geometric print pants with striking fuchsia and neon colors.

Navy works for me, especially with bright yellow!
