I know this is old but this is the best method for me (i`ve tried many things to force Microsoft store to update my app). It even works as an update to your old app. My problem was the download in the Microsoft Store was not starting. Used your method and boom 5 seconds later my app was up to date. Thanks a lot !

most links I input don't have an appxbundle download, only the rest of the file extensions. The only link that had appxbundle file was "phone link". Does that mean the rest can't be downloaded manually?

and then
I found a glitch in my windows
so
I found an update to winows
and I did
then I restarted
and forgot about the apps
so windows store vanished completely
and I did the powershell thing
and still no result

Hello there I had an issue with xerox software and was auto updating causing issues and I though it was the machine. guess what it was the app, Thank you for this I was able to go back to the other app version now working and disable updates.

For some reason, I can't download any appx bundle files ( probably the date it expired from Microsoft store servers )
