issue I had was not in this video - my resolution was it was in windows S mode. I had to goto Settings > System > Activation. I clicked the dropdown arrow next to Windows S and it led me to the Windows store to Get "Switch out of S Mode". After that, my issue was resolved

When I sign into the Microsoft Store and type in Switch out of S Mode, nothing happens. Also when I try to click on choose where to get apps, there is NO drop down option

If you're making a video titled "WITHOUT Microsoft Store" but it actually includes the Microsoft something is wrong! I did the opposite of what you said & it worked. Under apps & features, I clicked "anywhere".

For me this is not working at all. I am on Win 11 Pro (not in S mode), and it is set to Anywhere, but I still get an error if I want to install an app. Any ideas?

At that position my laptop shows a log-in to MS account button, and no drop down menu :-(
