my mind is so lost in concepts, that i lose very easy track at contemplation and self inquiry. Last two years I did shitload of meditation alone at home and in zen style. I was on a 7 Day Sesshin. 3 Day Rohatsu. I got a local zen group and good teachers. I do Koan work. And still I feel so stuck in my concepts. I am more awake and I can focus more. But I am so clueless about the real nature of self and reality that it nearly hurts. Zen people just say its normal that it takes years and bla bla. But I just cant accept it and just wait

I wish I could sincerely say I understand Peter Ralston but I dont. I am trying so hard to understand what hes on about but Im failing and feel horrible because of my efforts. Honestly this journey is too hard sometimes that I just wish to eat, drink and be merry and forget about this whole enlightenment thing.
