RUST | Elevator (Lift) Guide | Tips & Tricks | Circuits

So in todays video I show you how the elevator in Rust works. I will show you how to set the elevator up, how to power it and even how much the elevator costs.

There's a bit of a bonus at the end of the video too where I see what the tallest tower you can build is in Rust and use the elevators to break the record, so stick around for that.

To place the elevator in Rust you will need a multi storey base with holes left for the shaft. You cant place the lift through floors. You need to make sure you have power to your lifts motor too. You can use batteries, solar panels, wind turbines or even generators if you have access to them.

Once you have power to your lift in Rust, make sure you power a "call lift" or "call elevator" node on the shaft. This will allow you to call the elevator from any floor to the one you're on.

Thank god there is a lot of sway in a 16x scope, after seeing the end where you were at the top top and could see the whole map, that was crazy!

to help you and those watching out what you can also do is hold e on the raise or lower button to go all the way up or down :)

I used a pressure plate as a call button but the rf receiver is a really cool idea

im pretty sure buttons produce a very tiny amount of electricity when pressed, so you wont need to have an electric input for the buttons in this project

The call button doesn’t need power on mine to work, is this because it’s modded or an update?

Awesome video. Question can you put a elevator one in front of another to fit a long vehicle on one call button to make a multi-level garage? may try this myself. What's your thoughts possible or not possible?

As admins do we have the power to delete parts of a base? Right now I'm spawning C4, rockets or explosive bullets depending on what I want to remove from the base I'm practising on. Do you know of a away top spawn vehicles like say the mini copter? I can't seem to find any commands that work. So you have tried building to the limit I haven't tried that yet Ive had the server 2 days though so I spent a lot fo time looking for a goodmap seed and I found what I think is a great seed. It has all but 2 monuments. it doesn't have themiltary tunnels or the sphere but I really like the layout and it looks like a great map to play on. I can hardly wait to try it all out. Kinda wish I had god mode sometimes.
