Could Velociraptors Thrive in Today's Ecosystem?

Velociraptors belonged to a family of dinosaurs called the dromaeosaurids. Their name means ‘speedy thief’. They were feathered and relatively small dinosaurs that walked on two legs. They lived in Asia during the Late Cretaceous period around 70 million years ago. But like all the non-avian dinosaurs, they became extinct at the Cretaceous–Paleogene boundary 66 million years ago. Here, we ask the question could velociraptors survive nowadays?
They weighed between 15 and 20 kilograms, 33 to 44 pounds and grew up to 2 metres, 6.5 feet long. It was considerably smaller than those portrayed in the film Jurassic Park. But this by no means that it was any less fierce. Velociraptor had many advantages that made it an iconic predator of the late Cretaceous, but could it survive today?

I think velociraptors would have adapted well to our modern day environment but they would have to compete with other predators

The Droumesours were essentially just the dinosaur equivalent of a canine

I love the velociraptor, and I think it could do well in modern environments that don't possess many large predators such as Australia, which would also have lizards, rabbits, wombats, and koalas that these speedy thieves could live off
I do believe these small carnivores did live and hunt in packs, which could help them survive

Wild dog have the highest success rate on prey so possible if they did pack hunt that they could take on much larger prey items. The size isn’t that much larger on dog. Also this raptor is literally the smallest of the raptors or well known ones. Also what’s the difference between disemboweling and just piercing for a sickle claw? Seems it could do either if kicking at most mammal that often go for the neck or skull predator wise.

One question though, why did you title it thrive in today's ecosystem instead of survive nowadays, because usually you title it survive nowadays! (Reply ASAP Please)

Meh, it lived along side much bigger and more dangerous animals back in its days it will do perfectly well in our time 🤷🏿‍♂️

And its smaller size makes it cenozoic/holocene approved lol.

Abswer=No. It'd be easily eradicated by hunters and farmers.
