all people who are hating about the new stuff since vengeance falls are not able to look at the history of trivium. have they ever done 2 records which are sounds like the other? i dont think so. they always have done the music they wanted to do. the played metalcore, melodic metalcore, heavy metal, thrash metal and all this stuff. the never done the same thing twice and this is the reason why i love this band so much. every person can find his songs which he prefer to listen and it doesnt matter which genre he like. and now the are making some commercial music. and i like this music to. i love songs like departure from ascendancy but sometimes i want to calm down and then music like this song is medication. if someone like the style from shogun the he have to listen to shogun and not to vengeance falls ore ember to inferno. the styles are totally different at any record and this shows how talentet this band is. i listen to them since the beginning and still love them. realize that nobody can say he likes the older style of trivium because they never had a clear and constant style. every record is a new definaton and it is for trivium like for bring me the horizon. after a time when you have done always agressive music you just want to calm down and try something different. its a totally normal process in the lifetime of any band. iam waiting for ne new record! sounds awesome. espacially this song brings tears to my eyes

i personally love the new album, i am not into screaming and growling anymore (unlike 2 years ago). clean voices and badass instrumentals (just sick on this album) are better than screaming and growling to instrumentals that are not catchy and harsh as hell.. matt himself said they have songs in which they tried to go as heavy as possible, but music like this is for posers in my opinion. nobody likes to listen to a guy growling for 5 minutes, even though i respect trivium for their ability to create such heavy stuff.

this album is the first album since ages i really like from the beginning to the end, the best step they could do is such an album for me

This song grew on me. Sure, the autotune or harmonies or whatever there is used, sounds weird and the chugging is really boring, but the melodies and the solo section are pretty sweet.
