It isn't even spooky month yet but i really felt like drawing/animating some spooky stuff, and i thought Mapleshade would fit good for this kind of theme
This is just a completely random project that i haven't spent much time or love into so i'm not that proud of it, it's just a little stress relief for fun. I just love Nero's day at disneyland and i've always wanted to use this song in some kind of way, so here it is, a short and bloody trainwreck of a video.

This makes the story feel just as horrifying as it should've been-like grieving mother goes insane and brutally murders three people to, in her mind, free the souls of her children, is a horror movie I would watch-ESPECIALLY if it was animated like this like this is amazing and terrifying I love it

I honestly wish we had more of this in the community... sounds sadistic I know, but hear me out- I've always imagined Warrior cats to have the same degree of gore as Watership down did and this hits the nail straight on the head! It's so smooth and sinister it actually gives Mapleshade this horrific murderous vibe to her rather than some cat that went "Claws go brr brr" on the three she killed, it's beautiful ;-;

I just love so much the moment when she switches so quickly from sadness to rage
Like you know she isn't the cat who would just cry over her fate and live with all of this. No she so quickly developed rage in herself that this isn't the way thinks should be and she isn't going to leave it that way, she need her revenge

Not gonna lie, I love the details in this. It shows realistic pain and emotion. Making the viewer themselves to know the degree of pain they are going. Just spooky

GOD this is amazing, like when most people say gore they mean a few cuts and scratches, but THIS is exactly what i want to see when someone says gore!!! absolutely stunning, i can't stop watching

I am loving the hairless Ravenwing design!! Not to mention the maggots? That's a nice, realistic and creepy detail that you didn't don't see often! I also love that Frecklewish's eye falls out! I really love the creativity in this!

I love how this is actually disturbing!! I enjoy adaptations of villains in warriors like tiger star for example that actually intimidate me!! I saw a drawing of tiger star with a huge frame and a nasty snarl where his jagged teeth showed and it actually really disturbed me!! A lot of the warriors designs aren’t really scary or frightening yet your maple shade as well as appledusk, frecklewish, and ravenwing were all VERY frightening!! That’s something I look for yet rarely see in the fandom!! This is gorgeous and I can’t wait to see more art from you!!
