My expectation is for 2024 that markets starts to broaden out more, ” what if the interest rates go up? i have a ton of questions....can I safely invest $220k? What should I do differently?

They are getting greedier and greedier and greedier. Never enough. The love of money is the root of all evil.

they think by calling it "entitlements" so that we will think we do not have right to get our money back. If I put 15% away every year then I could easily retire by 62. The fact that they want to renig after I'm finally able to collect because they are broke is an insult!

Tax payers pay into Social Security, the very rich don’t. So it all falls on the middle class as the very rich have all the loopholes. Make the billionaires contribute taxes.

Uhhhh i pay 7-9k a year in just social security. So i definitely do pay for it.

My husband cannot retire. We had a budget of 80k a year to live. Now you need over 100k.

Excellent discussion of David Rosenberg and good questions raised by moderator.!

Social security payments in the USA are massively higher than the Canadian equivalent (Old Age Security), so it's not that surprising Rosenberg thinks this.

I woke up to the tragic drawbacks of our debt-based financial system during the last financial crash. Through discipline, determination and Abby Joseph Cohen my financial advisor, I was able to retire recently in my early '50s with a bit of land in the Williamson act on the California coast and an investment portfolio that can sustain my daily living. I try to spread the word and encourage many people I meet it is possible to achieve the goal of independence. Living below your means can be enormously rewarding!
Practice humility and above all, Invest in the financial markets with expert guidance.

Money is already worthless, $50, 000 cars $450, 000 houses, food is full of chemicals, $7.00 loafs of bread and on on . We are all screwed, living today is a absolute nighmare compared to life in 80'S

Transfer of wealth usually occur during market crash, so the more stocks drop, the more I buy, in the meanwhile I'm just focused on making better investments and earning more as recession fear increases, apparently there are strategies to 3x gains in this present market cos I read of someone that pulled a profit of $350k within 6months, and it would really help if you could make a video covering these strategies.

I PAID MEDICARE I PAID SOCIAL SECURITY!!!! That is not an entitlement. I am owed. I have worked since I was 10 years old. That is correct. 10 YEARS OLD. Sir, you are strongly misguided. You want us to work until we die to satisfy the 5 or 7 families that hold 7.2 trillion dollars in the stock market. The S&P is 88% held by 3 company's. YOU are apart of them. I truly believe in capitali, m but what we have today is crony capitalism.
If we stop sending trillions out of this country and force our corrupt government to pay back the money they stole from SS, there would not be an issue. Working longer IS NOT THE ANSWER. Mind sets like yours IS the problem.

I got out of the real estate investing market about a year ago. I think its time to get into the stock market for a while. whats the best strategy to invest around 200K in this current market crash

It’s always we can’t afford to take care of our elders and our military men and women. But I find it fascinating on how much unaccounted money that’s being wasted daily by our beloved government. And our over paid useless government jobs we have in this country.

So if we're not entitled to anything then the government isn't entitled to our money. If you do away with SS benefits then do away with taxes

Social security is not an entitlement. That money was taken out of our checks.

Sorry, Todd. I think I’ll pass on this guest

Before you tackle Social Security, tackle all the money that is being printed and sent to Ukraine, bailouts and corruption. Start there first.

I totally agree with the gentleman below. I'm 76 and I am STILL working and paying into the Social Security system, including paying backbreaking federal income tax while the ultra wealthy pay NOTHING. I am also still contributing to my own personal pension plan. So tell your guest that YES, I AM ENTITLED TO MY OWN FREAKING MONEY. Now let's get down to cases.
For now six decades my own tax dollars have been going to financing endless global conflicts that I never voted for, and the TRILLIONS of my own tax dollars they used to bail out the "Too Big to Fail" investment bankers. But when my small business went bankrupt 10-years ago, did they bail ME out?? Now they're actually giving illegals by the tens of thousands $4, 000. a month to stay in posh hotels in Midtown Manhattan, along with totally free health care. I know this for a fact because I just got back from there last month and an NYPD cop pointed to a hotel filled to the brim with thousands of them, who are now "complaining about the food" while American citizens are still living on the streets. Now THAT is the definition of "entitlement, " handing out tons of our money that they are not entitled to in any way, shape, or form. And once again I never voted to allow in TENS OF MILLIONS of undocumented aliens into this country, our elected officials like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris did. So just bring it up with them.

No, just no. You do not talk about taking away benefits people have paid into when they are old when money is flowing out of the country to fight wars no one voted on!!
