When I watched Firefly this past winter I was just wishing there was more to it, they canceled it right in the middle of the season so it never even got a finale, FOX just left the fans hanging.

It was a great show. I saw it online. I mean, Sci fi fans are tired of Star Trek type shows where the main characters are cops and the whole show is telling you to support some authority, Firefly was about the underdog, if you have a space navy, you need space pirates, and pirates were interesting as the main character and not as the villain, too many people in the country are the underdog now for us not to root for it. When it comes to something people root for, characters who are anarchists, who don't care about the rules, are where we want to go in fantasy, because following the rules is too much all the time in reality.

it was on Fox, and Fox is %100 about the ratings, and yeah the show had a high budget which didn't help much.
