Josh Lockwood Visits Red Cross Hurricane Sandy Shelter on Long Island

Greater NY Red Cross CEO Josh Lockwood visits the Red Cross shelter at Nassau Community College. As of midnight, Nov. 1, the Greater New York Region had 11 shelters open on Long Island; three in Westchester; one in Greenwich, Conn.; and one each in Orange, Rockland, and Sullivan counties, housing nearly 1,400 residents. The Red Cross made sure they all had food, safe shelter, health services, and emotional support.
