ARTHUR COLLINS' LAST SOLO RECORDING 1922

Показать описание
In October 1921 Mr. Collins was performing an Edison tone test in a darkened theater when he fell through a trapdoor and was severely injured. After several months recovery he recorded this coon song for the Gennett Company on April 15, 1922. It turned out to be his last solo record, after making many thousands of records in a 25 year career. He made a few more Edison sides with Byron G. Harlan, then retired in 1926.
