Stronghold Crusader 2 - Meet the Rat

It gives us great pleasure to announce that The Rat, one of the four most notorious AI Lords in the Stronghold universe, will be returning to wreak havoc in Stronghold Crusader 2.

There is always a certain element of nostalgia at play when making a sequel to such an old and beloved game, but that's not our reason for bringing him back. The return of these classic characters is among our most frequently requested features for the game, making the addition of The Rat to the Crusader 2 roster a direct response to the community. We are making this game with your help, so keep the suggestions coming!

I remember in crusader 1, he built a castle with a staircase on the outside, so you could just walk up his walls. Funny character though, glad he will be back

Ironically, had he done HIS original plan (wait for reinforcements), he would of killed us all way back in the original Stronghold. Nope. The Wolf wants him to attack, and thus giving you a chance to win.

So nostalgic for this, this game was such a big deal for me as a kid (ignore the fact i was technically to young lol) the map creator was so fun for me back then and this game cemented an interest in military history which is still have fervently to this day, can't wait to see this game on sale!

What is the maximum unit count? There doesn`t seem to be many units at a time... Are huge battles even possible? Please show footage of a huge battle!!

1 thing what bothered me in Stronghold Crusader is, will the enemy AI build theyr castles normal now? instead of half completing it while mixing it with there orchards :/ same goes for The Sultan. he never build any farms and if he did he mixed his castle in it.
