Question to London Watch Collector: Hi, beside of the content of your videos - I am a watch enthusiast as well -, I am quite impressed by the quality of your videos. Also the macro shootings that show all the little details of your watches, seem really perfect to me. Very informative, I had no idea that this movement does not have a quick date set.
Question for you and the viewers: would you rather have
a) A gold 15202 and white gold 36mm Day Date (blue dial, batons)
b) A steel 15202 and a 36mm Yellow Gold Day Date (Blue dial)

I'm torn at the moment because part of me feels that the Royal Oak is meant to be a steel watch but I am pining for a gold sporty watch (oxymoron I know) and have a real soft spot for the 36mm Day Date which I'm sure will be added to my collection when the time is right (would just be sooner if I opt for a steel RO)

I'm trying to decide between the regular Royal Oak Jumbo and this one. I prefer 41mm in theory but there is just something about the 39mm that looks more elegant. I'm not just talking about the sleeker case, there's also something about the dial on this watch that makes it look higher quality than the larger sized ones. I don't want to say that the new 41mm Jumbo's look cheap... they just look more mass produced than the older variants. This particular AP has that same aesthetic as the older models, with a new movement and spectacular finish on the case and bracelet.
