Seeking out a regular dose of awe can strengthen the immune system, increase feelings of gratitude and compassion, lift up people who have experienced trauma, and change our perception of the world around us. But modern culture—filled as it is with the demands of screen time and the draw of social media—seems to be causing an awe deficit. How do we rekindle the sense of wonder that can give meaning to our lives?
