As you watch these 80’s clips you realize that most everything Hollywood and the music industry produced in the 80’s was upbeat, positive, fun to watch and we laughed. Maybe today’s entertainment industry needs a refresher on how to create music, TV, and movies with a positive spin so that future generations will actually want to look back on today as something worth revisiting.

Tears in my eyes! Thank you for taking my back to my youth! I'm 54 now but I was back being 11 till 21 again. I loved and sill love the 80's, when live was good.

Believe it or not, it was only just the other day when my 19 year old daughter jorja, sat down beside me and asked about the 80's, my response was as follows....as the tears began to roll down my face i said, jorja, i cant even begin to describe what it was like for the simple reason that life today is now so bad in comparison that the 80's would appear to be nothing more than a fantacy world that you read about in fictional story book. We talked about, the music, the new gadgets and products, the hair styles, the bright coloured cloths, fingerless gloves, VHS videos and the thing, for me that stands head and shoulders above all that was the innocence and freedom we had. In the 80's we were free, life in the 80's was one big never ending adventure, no restrictions, no gates or walls or fences, we still had our primal morals and respect for ourselves and each other, we could have a bonfire party on the beach not an issue, if you did that today you be arrested by the authorities and upon your release then batted by the environmentalist for contributing to global warming. My daughter sat and listened to me ramble on and on about the 80's and i finished with this....jorja if i had just one wish, just one, it would be that i could go back to the 80's and never and never return.

Every generation thinks the decade of their teenagehood / 20's was the best. But the teenagers / 20's of the 80's KNOW it was the best decade EVER to be a youth. Among other things, the music, cinema and TV were MAGIC!

I was born in 57 and I can tell you that the 80s were the best absolutely the best time of my life!

I was 8-18 during the best decade ever. Life was just different then. Simple, fun, still had its innocence. The movies/music were a staple of the 80’s. I love these tributes. The flashbacks are a reminder of a different time and that life is short. I think the memories keep me young. What a blessing to have lived through it.

This was perfect. Child in the 70’s and graduated in 1989. I really, really miss those times.

The 80's were simply beautiful. The music was unique and colorful, the action movies with Lucas and Spielberg had the best scores, and the comedies had the most memorable lines you can recite over and over. I feel so honored to have my youth filled this experience.

I loved this video, this brought so many good memories.
I was born in 1976.
A few years ago I bought an old Mercedes 300SL from 1986, I quit driving my Tesla and sold it. Now I only drive my old Mercedes as a daily driver, cause I love the feeling so much. I have a rule, when inside the car: only music up until 1989 is allowed to play in the car.
So each time I drive it I feel a bit like time traveling.

I was born in 1972. The 80’s were my formative decade. So many great things from that decade.

In 2023 I still listen to the music, all of it, and my teenage kids love it. They say it is great to them.

We did something right.
